How to use EduMIPS64

In order to use EduMIPS64, you have to install Java version 5 or later . If you just want to run EduMIPS64, download the jar version, and follow these instructions. Then, double-clicking on the .jar icon should work and in no time you'll be running EduMIPS64!!

If this doesn't work, please be sure that the "java" command is in your path, and then, in the .jar directory, type

java -jar edumips64-VERSION.jar

replacing VERSION with the version you're trying to run.

For Win32 platforms, there's a special EduMIPS64 version that contains a JVM that's able to run EduMIPS64 via a simple batch script. Usually this bundled version is made for public releases, and you can get it from the sourceforge.net project download page.

If this doesn't work too, please feel free to write to the mailing list in order to get support from the team.
